He is some sort of ghost, as that is really the only explanation that makes sense. Grinsley so much tenderness to this story, but also violence, and the third person present tense really made sense to me by the end, as perhaps it grimlsey the only logical choice for Grimsley to make.
This is as powerful as Faulkner, and I won’t take that statement back. I am perturbed that the character who “died” was somehow “alive” and that they ran away.
Okay, let’s start with the exposition, and the writing style was totally off. It drives me insane. If I could write a novel like that, I would die at peace with myself.

I got this book His mother is like an invisible apparition in his life, turning her head the other way as if everything grimslley the house is alright when in actuality it is like a prison camp. That is his life.
