I knew the incorrect voltage caps were not a good idea, but I figured it was mostly for the reason that they would burn out very quickly as opposed to not working at all. I did the whole power on and check with a flash light. There are other ways but this is maybe the best way for you. Okay so I got the pictures. You can see picture but still no backlight. Here are pictures of my board. Replaced picofuse with litle wire. If these are correct, trace the signals from the connector to the inverter controller. Can we clear and focused picture of YOUR boards? It’s a small 3A fuse that’s green in color probably mounted near the caps you just replaced. Okay So I am a newbie. I’m going to check it out and see if its tests good. Got to repair a bf a few days ago. I have a samsung b. Show 40 post s from this thread on one page. Well bright side is I am still mentally challanged. Check to see if it’s open. The backlights come on and the screen is white. It may be covered by white glue. Symptoms upon turning it on were no reaction but the rapidly blinking led as well. Before doing any work neither the lcd or the backlight was working.
Maybe, but measure the resistance of the secondaries of both of the Inverter transformers, they should be very very similar measurements. I know it’s no suprise with the white but here is what has me dumbfounded when the cable for the screen is connected the I get just the blinking LED. I learn quickly but I was following this thread from the start and i replaced the caps.
Attached are pictures from after the 3 caps were replaced. Others mentioned the fuse being problematic so I was looking for it to test it. I will check again for the fuse, I tried to look in that area but could adtasheet see the code f, however that section had a catasheet of glue on it, so I’ll look closer. Power light is on.
Here’s the BOM from mouser. I have done some testing and I am in a cross roads as to what I should do next. Bright as daylight and stable too. Can we get clear datqsheet focused picture of YOUR boards? If I can get this working, I will absolutely change them.
Problem is that backlights arent working at all. I had a similar problem with my Samsung B as well. Well my picture upload Failed.: Anyone have any ideas?

Where else to look? However now the LCD works but the backlight still does not. Changing all caps on the power board, except the big one, fixed it. I get the rapid datashewt power LED no button functions. Any idea where else to look?
As for the backlight, on some of these boards, a fuse F was used for the inverter section. Bad caps are still plaguing things inI have the same Samsung b, same problem
